Light for Life

 The “LIGHT FOR LIFE” is a Social & Cultural Non-Govt. Organization of Assam was
Registered on 09th September, 2021 under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, Vide Registration No: RS/TSK/244/F/10 of 2021-2022.
                   As the Society is a Socio-economic Voluntary organization, it has been working since its inception i.e. 2021 in the field of all round Social & Cultural developments as per its Aims & Objectives.

Vision:
         To do for the well being & up liftment as a whole in general and to safeguard the interests of the poor, innocuous, destitute, downtrodden, oppressed and needy masses irrespective of sex, caste, communities & religion in particular and the Society will strictly adhere act as a charitable institution for the benefit of the rural people of the entire Assam.
Brief Progress of the Society:
        With the active co-operation of the community, the “LIGHT FOR LIFE” has been able to pass twenty-two glorious years full of activities and promises for the fulfilment of the objectives of the society towards a better world.
        A small beginning almost twenty-two years ago, few prominent youth has formation of the Society with the chief aim to improve the Culture and continuing its untiring and sincere efforts with limited resources, taking up one challenge after another, aiming to make society a better place to live in with its Culture, has been able to reach the present status of materializing its dream of fulfilment. The society could attain the progress/ development due to the committee members and whole-hearted support and co-operation from all sections of people.
        The NGO wants to highlight the achievements of the society for the well-wishers so that constructive criticism emanates from them to take us forward to a higher goal. The NGO has taken initiatives in various sectors like Games & Sports, Education, Environment, Employment Generation Schemes, Cultural, Social development, Legal etc.

I. Activities undertaken by the NGO during the Finance year 2021-2024:
          The NGO has organized itself through its committed staffs and workers to implement these projects/ programmes successfully with the active co-operation of the community.
              1. Observed World Environment Day
              2. Programme on Youth Motivation
              3. Programme on Child Labour
              4. Programme on Child Marriage
              5. Programme on Swachh Bharat Abhihan
              6. Programme on Health & Hygienic Living, etc.
      
          It may be worth mentioning that the Society could provide employment to a large number of unemployed youths and also to improve the status of the rural people by marketing their products through various Trade Fairs/Exhibitions.
